Death's Favorite Warlock

Death's Favorite Warlock is a LitRPG series following Lars, a human in a cultivation world dominated by powerful beings with ancestral bloodlines. Initially bullied and treated as worthless, Lars' existence is upended when a vicious sect massacres his village, taking his mother and others as slaves.

Haunted by a voice pushing him towards violent "quests," Lars must level up and grow stronger to save his mother. He begins killing the cultivators who stand in his way, gaining power from their deaths. He eventually gets taken by an elder cultivator into a treacherous sect, where he becomes embroiled in power struggles and must hide his deadly methods. As Lars continues to navigate this brutal world, he faces new enemies, royal intrigue, and political machinations, all while learning to harness his deadly powers.
