Milton Frederick, an aspiring gamer, is abducted, killed, and reborn as a Station Core – a technological entity capable of creating traps, combat units, and defenses. Stranded far from his intended destination on a foreign planet, he must adapt to his new non-human form and an alien-infested universe. His journey begins with a desperate struggle for survival and a quest to reach the Collective, the mysterious group who created him.
