The Ravaged World Trilogy is a British horror anthology connected by a shared zombie apocalypse setting. Book one follows Jack Wardsley, a detective trapped in a time-loop aboard an infected cruise ship who must relive the outbreak again and again until he can break it. Books two and three shift to new survivors — a salesman holed up at a hilltop amusement park, a veterinarian and a loner establishing a pier refuge — as the infected take over Britain and the dead walk on land.

Each book centers a different protagonist: a methodical detective turning Groundhog Day-style repetition into investigation; an ordinary salesman revealed as surprisingly tough under pressure; and a veterinarian who becomes an unlikely leader. The series values realistic, fallible ordinary people over action heroes.
