Reaper Academy

Bloom is the last Persephone, a woman reborn through ninety-nine lifetimes each ending in death before her twentieth birthday at the hands of gods who hunt her for sport. Hades has built Reaper Academy — disguised as Forsaken Academy — to shelter her, while walking its halls as the dangerously attractive Professor Nero Ravencrux, bound by rules that forbid him from revealing himself or touching her. The first book blends dark academia with Greek myth retelling, building to the moment Bloom recovers her memories and becomes Persephone.

Bloom/Persephone moves from a cursed young woman navigating danger in ignorance to a goddess reclaiming her identity with fury. Nero/Hades is devotedly, heartbreakingly patient — having watched her die ninety-nine times and never been able to follow — which grounds his formidable darkness in grief rather than mere menace.

Across two books the story moves from forbidden slow-burn romance under strict rules to Persephone''s fully awakened rage, grief, and determination to repay every century of forced death. The second book centers her revenge against the betrayer who sold her to her enemies across lifetimes, and the resolution of her and Nero''s eternal bond.
