The Laboratory

The Laboratory is a futuristic dungeon core series following Emma, an artificial intelligence with a penchant for science, insults, and traps. Waking up in a post-apocalyptic wasteland within a long-abandoned facility, Emma must secure her survival and satisfy her scientific curiosity by acquiring test subjects.

As the series progresses, Emma and her companion Anna navigate dangerous territories, encountering powerful, mutated foes fueled by the cataclysm that changed the world. The duo must steal and scavenge to upgrade their core and defend themselves. Emma gains control of a city district, facing challenges from other district leaders and resource scarcity; she later commands a full city and eventually rules a restored nation. Her reach expands from the Earth to other planets in the solar system, and finally to the galaxy, navigating politics and encountering dangerous species while uncovering long unanswered quests.

Emma's growing power brings equally great threats as she seeks to expand her research and reshape her reality. Alliances are forged and broken as Emma strives for galactic dominion.
