The Shadow Campaigns

Set in an alternate 19th century world where muskets and magic collide, The Shadow Campaigns follows the fate of the Vordanai empire. The series begins with Captain Marcus d’Ivoire and Winter Ihernglass, whose paths converge under the command of the ambitious Colonel Janus bet Vhalnich. Janus's pursuit of supernatural forces could reshape their world, testing their allegiance.

As the series progresses, the King of Vordan's impending death throws the kingdom into turmoil. His daughter, Raesinia, becomes a target of powerful figures like Duke Orlanko. Janus, along with Marcus and Winter, become her unlikely allies, trying to protect the kingdom. However, war engulfs Vordan after the king's death, and dark priests wielding forbidden magic threaten its future. Allies become divided, and the stakes rise as sacrifices are made for victory.

Ultimately, an ancient demon, imprisoned for a thousand years, is unleashed upon the world, led by a corrupted Janus. Raesinia, Marcus, and Winter face an ultimate betrayal when Janus declares himself Emperor, plunging Vordan into chaos. Their fight for survival becomes a battle against not just external enemies, but also the darkness within themselves.
