The Turning

The Turning is a post-apocalyptic LitRPG series where the world has undergone a sudden, inexplicable transformation. The modern world of iPhones and hamburgers is replaced by magic and monsters, turning humanity into "players" with levels, items, and classes.

The first book introduces August King, who quickly rises through the ranks, mastering powerful abilities and acquiring legendary weapons. He battles creatures and saves people, all while navigating the bizarre new reality. Accompanied by his best friend, a loyal dog, a little girl, and her cat.

Book two sees King become the President of Washington D.C. needing to rebuild civilization, develop infrastructure, and save his people from a deadly magical virus after monsters become more dangerous than ever expected. As the series progresses, August and his party take their quest to an Ohio while gaining levels, traveling from DC to Cleveland.

The final installment sees the game maker challenge not only earth creatures but the creatures of the cosmos.
