Valroy, son of the Morrigan and heir to the vacant Unseelie throne, cannot claim his crown without a bride — and none of the Unseelie court will do. He abducts Abigail, a struggling human hedge witch, and drops her into a supernatural Maze with a deal: solve it and he grants her deepest wish. Abigail is outmatched in every way except one — she refuses to break. The Unseelie Shadows Chronicles is a dark fantasy romantasy series expanded across three interconnected sub-series featuring different protagonist pairs.

Each sub-series centers a different female lead: Abigail is stubborn and morally grounded; Alex is desperate and reckless; Ava is young and adaptive. All three are placed in extreme danger by Unseelie men who are explicitly villainous and gradually, controversially, become romantic leads. The series is deliberate about its dark romance positioning and includes content warnings for dubious consent and graphic violence.

The nine-book collection encompasses three complete romantic arcs: Abigail and Valroy (books 1–4, Maze of Shadows), Alex and the Unseelie Duke Izael (books 5–6, Deal of Shadows), and Ava and the exiled spider-fae Serrik (books 7–9, Web of Shadows). All three converge on the same world of Tir n'Aill and ultimately the same war — Valroy's bid to burn Earth and fae alike. The final book resolves all three arcs in a shared apocalyptic climax.
