Dark Lord Davi

Davi has been stuck in a time loop for as long as she can remember, repeatedly rallying humanity against an all-powerful Dark Lord and losing every single time. Tired, cynical, and done with being the hero, she makes a radical decision: if the Dark Lord always wins, she will become the Dark Lord. What follows is a raunchy, blood-splattered isekai comedy that turns fantasy tropes inside out as Davi builds a monster army and discovers that ruling is more complicated than conquering.

Davi is sarcastic, battle-hardened, and ruthlessly pragmatic — a female antihero who has cycled through every heroic script and found them all wanting. She is morally flexible but not cruel; her humor is dark and her motivations surprisingly sympathetic once the loops are understood. She is explicitly a female lead in a western isekai context, making her a refreshing gender inversion of the typical power-fantasy protagonist.

Across two books, Davi goes from defiant antihero taking over the kingdom to desperate ruler trying to prevent total war and finally break the time loop that has trapped her. The duology escalates from satirical isekai power-grab to a story with genuine emotional stakes, including a romantic relationship with a female love interest and the looming truth behind why the loop exists at all.
