Derelict

Derelict is a LitRPG Dungeon Core adventure series about Captain Slater, who is transformed into a "derelict"—a consciousness bound to his ship—after his vessel, the USS Franklin, is destroyed by an unknown alien race. Adrift in space and cut off from allies, Slater and his crew must survive against hostile forces, including a mysterious council seeking his destruction.

As a derelict core, Slater possesses unique abilities and becomes a deadly opponent. He's determined to protect his crew and get them home. After humanities war with the council, Slater discovers he has been captured and is being held at Sarton Station. He must harness the resources around him to rebuild his ship while a new, far greater threat begins to emerge from the darkness of space, one with Earth in its sights.
