Paranoid Mage

Paranoid Mage is an Urban Fantasy series following Callum, a man who has always seen supernatural creatures but learned to keep it secret. At thirty, he discovers he is a mage, despite never having cast a spell. The Guild of Arcane Regulation (GAR) and the Bureau of Secret Enforcement want him to join their ranks, but Callum resists, preferring to avoid the supernatural world.

Forced to confront his mage abilities, Callum finds himself hunted by the powers that be after escaping from them. He struggles to understand his powers and fight an organization for freedom. Callum must decide how to navigate this new reality and secure his safety in a world where the apparatus of government is against him. The series follows his transition from reaction to action, as he confronts the GAR and its evils directly.
