Rigante

The Rigante series tells the story of a proud and fierce people dwelling in the mountain lands, intertwined with magic and ancient ways. The first book, Sword in the Storm, introduces Connavar, a warrior marked by fate, as he rises to defend his people against an invading army threatening their way of life. He gains a powerful, Seidh-forged sword and the name Demonblade.

Centuries later, after Connavar's victory, the Rigante struggle under oppression, and Midnight Falcon focuses on Bane, Demonblade's illegitimate son, an outcast driven by vengeance. A new threat arises as armies prepare to march against the Rigante. In Ravenheart, eight hundred years have passed; a revolution brews led by an outlaw known as Ravenheart and a legend in the making.

Stormrider unveils a civil war and encroaching darkness, forcing Ravenheart and Stormrider, the son of the oppressor, to confront a shared destiny and unite against an ancient evil threatening to overwhelm the Rigante once more.
