These characters are brought together by Bayaz, a powerful and enigmatic wizard, as they embark on a perilous mission with a strange alliance to face deadly secrets and enemies like the Eaters threatening mankind.

As bitter enemies forge precarious alliances and old scores are settled, the world hurtles towards conflict. Revolution begins, the Union faces internal strife as the ailing king's death sparks a scramble for the throne.
