The Imager Portfolio

The Imager Portfolio is an epic fantasy series centered in the world of Terahnar, where "Imagers" are rare individuals who can visualize things and make them real. Book 1, Imager, introduces Rhennthyl, who discovers he is an imager after his master's death.

The series follows the lives of Imagers across generations, exploring their powers, challenges, and roles within society. One story arc focuses on Quaeryt, a scholar who hides his imager abilities and rises in power, becoming a military leader and eventually Princeps. He strives to legitimize Imagers in the eyes of the public and to establish an academy to train them.

Later books jump ahead four centuries, focusing on Alastar, who is tasked with reviving a Collegium of Imagers that is in disarray and caught in political strife. He and others later must grapple with plots, treachery, and threats to the very stability of Solidar, a kingdom challenged by social unrest, uprisings, and the threat of assassination.
