The Iron Druid Chronicles

The Iron Druid Chronicles follows Atticus O’Sullivan, a two-thousand-year-old Druid living in modern-day Tempe, Arizona. Hounded by vengeful Irish gods after stealing an enchanted sword, Atticus must use his Celtic cunning and allies, including a bloodsucking vampire lawyer and his Irish wolfhound Oberon, to survive. He encounters witches, Bacchants, and fallen angels, facing challenges that require him to enlist unusual companions.

As the series progresses, Atticus confronts increasingly powerful foes, from the Norse god Thor to goddesses of the hunt, and must protect his apprentice, Granuaile. Ancient gods cause mayhem requiring intervention and globe-trotting quests across multiple pantheons and realms.

From battling vampires and demons to dealing with vengeful mythical creatures, Atticus fights to stay alive, protect the world, and maybe, just maybe, find some time for fish and chips.
