Pandora Unchained

Sorin is a trained healer who loses his parents under mysterious circumstances and turns to a demonic patron for help, only to receive the rare and socially reviled class of Poison Cultivator. Unable to practice medicine, he assembles a ragtag team of outcasts — an armored polar bear, an archer, a pyromancer, and a rogue — and sets out to survive in an unforgiving world. The gods are dead, the Seven Evils reign, and only Hope stands as humanity's last shield against extinction.

Sorin is a methodical, compassionate healer reborn as a reluctant warrior, forced to embrace a power that society fears. He applies his medical intellect to cultivation, making him a tactically unconventional fighter. His moral compass never wavers even as the powers he wields grow darker.

Across three books, Sorin evolves from a grieving son into a formidable cultivator, uncovering the forbidden research his ancestors conducted while fighting off escalating demonic threats. The series weaves themes of identity, the cost of power, and what it means to belong to something larger than oneself. Sorin's ragtag companions grow into a genuine found family, united against forces far beyond their original mission.
