Riyria Revelations follows the adventures of Royce Melborn, a skilled thief, and Hadrian Blackwater, his mercenary partner. Initially hired to steal a famed sword, they find themselves framed for the king's murder and embroiled in a conspiracy that threatens the kingdom.
Their fight for survival leads them to face treachery, adventure, sword fighting, magic, myth, and legend, ultimately uncovering an ancient mystery that has toppled kings and destroyed empires. As the newly formed empire rises, Royce and Hadrian aid the struggling kingdom of Melengar, embarking on a desperate gamble behind enemy lines. Royce seeks to uncover the truth about an ancient wizard's potential manipulation and must confront Hadrian's hidden past in a journey that leads them to the known world's end.
