Fresh from victory in the Arden Valley Fortress war, Seol Jihu, now celebrated as the Hero of Haramark, faces a new threat: political conflict. An attempt to tarnish his reputation and a dangerous attack force him to confront the darker side of Paradise. Realizing the need for greater influence, Seol Jihu embarks on a quest to build an organization.

This requires an expedition to the perilous Pagoda of Infection to secure funding. The journey brings him face-to-face with various Federation members and exposes him to the complex and often fraught relationships between the different races of Paradise, leading to growing distrust.
