Freedom Online

Freedom Online is a LitRPG series set in a virtual reality fantasy world where players have a year to do whatever they want. The first installment, The Copper Rose, introduces Tandy, a gamer who unexpectedly befriends a goblin and starts a settlement. This settlement then faces opposition from less benevolent players who seem to have real-world advantages. To overcome those that take more then they give, Tandy decides to team up with some of the darker races.

The duology continues the story in From the Ashes, where Tandy, along with Ushuk, Rachel, and Bones, must restore their settlement, Coyote Creek, after it is destroyed by fire. Their journey takes them across the seas in search of help. At the same time, the books explores the plans of Rapture Entertainment that seem to set up a grand plan for the real-world.
