Description
The Empire of Gold is the final chapter in the Daevabad Trilogy. After a brutal conquest has led to a devastating civil war, con-woman Nahri and idealistic djinn prince Ali, having narrowly escaped Daevabad, face difficult choices. Nahri finds peace in her human home but is haunted by those she left behind. Ali seeks support to rescue the city he left behind, only to find a deeper connection to his heritage.
Meanwhile, in Daevabad, Nahid leader Banu Manizheh and her resurrected commander, Dara, struggle to maintain peace and their alliance. Dara's past threatens to resurface after the loss of Nahri. Ultimately, Nahri, Ali, and Dara must understand that saving the world may require them to fight those they once loved and stand for those they once hurt.
