Description
In Shattered, the seventh installment of The Iron Druid Chronicles, two-thousand-year-old Druid Atticus O’Sullivan and his newly Druid apprentice Granuaile face multiple daunting challenges. They must battle a plague-summoning demon while simultaneously confronting a Fae rebellion in Tír na nóg.
Adding to the chaos, Atticus has unfrozen Owen Kennedy, an ancient archdruid, who now needs to adapt to the modern world. While Atticus enjoys teaching Owen about cell phones and English, he questions if Owen will be a help or a hinderance in the coming fight against the Norse god Loki.
Granuaile, dealing with her own familial issues, travels to India with Laksha to exorcise a sorcerer's spirit possessing her father. As the trio of Druids contend with a variety of mythical creatures and supernatural threats, they hope that this time, three’s a charm.
